Description 

Malabar Pied Hornbills are among the most striking birds of India’s forests, with their bold black-and-white plumage, oversized ivory-yellow beaks, and unmistakable curved casque that gives them an almost prehistoric elegance. They move through the canopy with a wonderful mix of grandeur and playfulness, their heavy wingbeats and loud calls announcing their presence long before they come into view.
